Hi, my name is Amanda. I grew up in the South- however, since I grew up in a metropolitan area my Southern accent is pretty much non existent. Along with not having an accent, I tend to stay away from sweet tea, corn bread, and grits. Probably more importantly, I am not a fan of a SINGLE SEC football team. And for these offenses, I am not sure why they have not kicked me out, state- by -state, slowly towards the Mason-Dixon line.
I recently graduated from Mercer University, where I met my lovely boyfriend. I recently moved for a new job. I work with a home visiting program that works with families on child development. I visit with mothers and fathers prenatally up to around four years of age.
When I am not working or helping to renovate Ardsley House, I enjoy crafting, watching football, reading blogs about crafting and DIY projects, and a little shopping. I have recently started to enjoy thrift stores and dollar stores- it has opened a whole new world of crafting possibilities.
